I know that it’s January, but I still feel like I’m wrapping up a few things from 2018. Any one else feel that way? I just didn’t have time to get everything done by the end of the year that I wanted to! I also didn’t want to bombard you with content that you didn’t have time to read, it was the holidays after all! There were also some things I just flat out couldn’t do until after the holidays.
For instance, your December 2018 favorite clothing pieces! I love these posts because I love getting to see everything that you guys loved and clicked on during the past month. There were a few things that have already sold out, so I didn’t share them here (I didn’t want to get your hopes up and then crush them), but the other things here are GOOD!
If you want to see how I create these lists, check out the November Favorites list for an explanation!
J.Crew Mercantile quilted puffer vest
So what was everyone’s favorite piece in December? The J.Crew puffer vest!
The puffer vests from J.Crew are actually a favorite of mine too. I don’t know what it is, but J.Crew always manages to make perfect vests! In fact, the majority of my vests (or at least the ones that I wear the most) are from J.Crew (specifically, J.Crew Factory).
How I Style My J.Crew Mercantile Quilted Puffer Vest
My favorite way to style my J.Crew Mercantile vest is with a cozy sweater and a pair of jeans (like above). What can I say? I love being as comfortable as possible. I’ll typically wear it with a riding boot, but every once in a while I’ll switch that up for a shorter boot or tennis shoes.
I’ve also loved pairing the vests with sweater or sweatshirt dresses. I think that it’s such a fun and unexpected surprise. Plus, it’s just as comfortable as jeans.
What were your favorite pieces from last month? Check out some of the favorite below and let me know!

J.Crew Woven ruffle-neck pullover
Isn’t the ruffle along the neckline so cute? I love how it dresses up this sweatshirt.
Target Prodyne Fruit Infusion Pitcher
This pitcher is the PERFECT way to give your water a fruity taste and not have to worry about getting a full check of fruit splashing into your water.
BP. Funnel Neck Tunic
This top is so cozy that I can’t even handle it.
Everlane The Oversized Alpaca Crew
Alpaca ties with cashmere for one of the softest knits and this sweater is no exception. This sweater makes me just want to curl up in a ball on the couch with a cup of tea.
Everlane The Day Boot
I’m obsessed with my Day Boots and how comfortable they are! I can walk around in them all day and not have to worry about breaking them in. I love the fun metallic twist with these boots to make them a little more fun.
TJ MAXX Cable Knit Cowl Neck Sweater
It’s a cable knit and a funnel neck. Basically all of my favorite things.
J. Crew Easy pant in lace
I’ve had to resist buying these pants so many times, but I think I may just have to bite the bullet. After all, they’re lace and just too adorable. Plus, I would totally wear the black ones to work year round (or at least during the winter and fall).
Anthropologie Christianne Flats
Aren’t these flats beautiful? I really can’t stop staring at them. Apparently neither can you.
Anthropologie Nikki Cade Map Maker Passport Holder
Before I left for my European adventure, I went on a mad hunt for a passport holder. I didn’t end up landing on this one, but it looks like a lot of you did!
ASOS DESIGN Petite wrap front jersey jumpsuit with short sleeve
I didn’t get these jumpsuit for the holidays, but it ended up being perfect for a holiday party! Now I can’t wait to bust this out again for date night.
