Note: Today’s post is sponsored by Cuddl Duds but as always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Something Good!
Is anyone else ready to enter major hibernation mode? I don’t know about you, but once the temperature starts to drop, all I can think about is curling up on my couch. Reading, watching tv, writing blog posts, all things that I can do from the comfort of my couch and a big cozy blanket.
There is one more important addition to that combination though: comfy clothing.
This subject can be where my head gets a little confused. You see, I don’t really have “lounge” clothing. I have pure barre clothing, my work/weekend clothes, and my pajamas. And no, I’m not going to wear my workout clothes as my lounge clothes. Did that just sound bratty? Sorry, I didn’t mean to, but honestly, when you spend most of your time sweating in those clothes, the idea of just sitting in them stops making sense.
It’s made me realize that I need to start bringing a little more loungewear into my life. Enter Cuddl Duds. This brand offers a wide variety of oh-so-comfortable pieces ranging from sweatshirts to leggings. What I love the most about these pieces is that if I need to run to the grocery store to pick something up during my lounging (sometimes you just get a craving), they’re totally acceptable to do that.
This is actually pretty important for me because I have a personal rule that I don’t go into public wearing sweatpants (unless I was going to or from a workout). I started with it in college and it just stuck. I figure I can always just throw on a pair of jeans or something so I look slightly more together. With Cuddl Duds though, no changing is necessary (further encouraging my laziness)!
The pieces I picked out today are from Cuddl Duds’ fleece collection, but they carry a handful of different lines (or head to your closest Macy’s which also carries them) so you can pick out the lounge wear that best suits your mood. Even if you aren’t in the mood for loungewear right now, I’d highly suggest buying some before winter hits. Trust me, you’ll be thankful.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some couch time I need to get back to!
