Since the temperature has FINALLY gotten a little colder (I know, I’m a weirdo), I’ve been planning out how I’ll be hibernating on the weekends. Yes, these are things I think about. It’s probably the Wisconsin in me, but I love the idea of curling up with a big blanket, a cup of tea, and watching or reading something wonderful.
I’ve also been thinking about what other relaxing things I can add in to my hibernation. One thing that I’ve been thinking about is adding back in baths. I tried them out when I moved into my new apartment, but I then ended up getting out of the habit.
It’s probably because every time I imagined taking a bath, it was in a room that looks like this one (designed by W2 by Wetsyle).
Instead, I look up from my bath and remember that my bathroom looks like this.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s cute and I love what I’ve done with it. But I can’t stop dreaming of these dreamy bathrooms. Yes, I just said dreamy bathroom.
I have decided that I want to look into a few ways I can spruce up my bathroom (and in turn, my bath). One of the ways I’ve been thinking about was adding a pillow for my bathtub. I know it sounds crazy but hear me out. When I take a bath, my main complaint (in addition to my bathroom not being as dreamy) is that my neck starts to hurt because my bath was not made for baths. But, if I got a pillow like this one from Wetstyle, my neck can be supported and my baths will be instantly more comfortable.
Other ways I’ve been thinking of making it a little better? Scented candles and plants! Well, fake plants because my bathroom doesn’t have a window or sunlight.
Do you have any suggestions for things I could do to make the space a little more calming? Especially since remodeling is out of the question. Because honestly, after looking at these pictures, if I had it my way, I would have W2 by Wetsyle design a whole new bathroom for me (with a tub that’s perfect for baths). Until then, I’ll just keep dreaming about bathrooms like these.
