If you haven’t noticed before, I’m no make up expert. In fact, I’m probably the opposite of expert in this area. But if there is one thing I do know about, it’s how to take care of my lips.
Was that a weird thing to say? Well it’s true! After living in the land of below zero temperatures for 18 years (hello Wisconsin) and then moving to still cold and deary Pittsburgh, I’ve had to perfect the art of keeping my lips moisturized.
In that quest, I’ve tried so many different different lip balms with mixed results. Has anyone else had the problem of lip balms making your lips more chapped? It’s the worst!
Well luckily I don’t have to deal with that anymore. Last year I started using Vaseline’s Lip Therapy and it’s been revolutionary. A few dabs of it before I go outside and it’s like I’m wearing a shield on my lips. And when I forget to put it on, it’s helped to healed my dried lips. Even better is that this year, Vaseline’s Lip Therapy got a makeover and they’re now available in the cutest little tins.
Vaseline sent me over a package of them to try and they’re the most adorable things ever. Previously these tins were only available in the UK, but now you can pick them up in the US. Just as good as the original (actually, probably even better), you can pick up different versions including cocoa butter, aloe, and rosy lips.
Even though we’re moving out of the cold weather, these tins are still perfect for spring. I’ve been using the Rosy Lips tin for a little extra color and I have a feeling that the aloe is going to be ridiculously refreshing in the summer.
