Um, I just realized that last month I wrote “May 2020” on my currently post picture and didn’t realize it until right now. If that doesn’t explain my state of mind right now, I don’t know what else does.
Currently, Vol. 53: tru fruit
choosing
My next book to read! Do I always work that into here? Maybe. Probably. There have been so many big reads that have come out this summer, it’s hard to keep up! I just started reading One to Watch, which has been sitting on my shelf forever and All Adults Here is coming up next (yes, it’s been sitting on my shelf too). But I have read The Vanishing Half and loved it, so at least I’m not completely behind on all of the popular books.
consuming
Have I talked about tru fruit on here before? I fell in love with these right before quarantine started and my obsession with them has continue. My favorite tru fruit flavor is the frozen raspberries covered in white and milk chocolate. (So delicious) Normally, a tiny bowl of these is the perfect dessert for me. But, if my sweet tooth is going crazy, I love pairing them with Whisked! chocolate blackout cookies. Whisked! is a local DC desserts brand, but you can order them to anywhere in the country.
enjoying
Folklore, the new Taylor Swift album! How could anyone not love it? The music on it is so beautiful and I’ve just loved listening to every moment of it. It was really the best surprise of the summer.
ordering
A cricut, hopefully soon! I’m harcore on the crafting bandwagon (what else do I have to do right now?) and I would love to get a cricut. At first, I wasn’t planning on getting one, because I couldn’t really see a reason for it. But then, I saw that you could use a cricut to make needlepoint canvases! It’s like a whole new world has opened up to me. It’s a pricey product that basically never goes on sale though (it’s always excluded in the fine print on all Michaels and JoAnn fabrics coupons), so I’m saving up a few dollars for it first.
remembering
A lot of really random childhood memories lately! Between The Babysitter’s Club on Netflix and my parents doing some remodeling on their house, a lot of random childhood memories have come up in the last few weeks. Oh also, my friend and I have rewatched a few Mary Kate and Ashley movies and holy 90s! It was such a simpler time.
As always, linking up with Anne In Residence.
