Phoebe Robinson is a powerhouse of a women. Already an accomplished comedian and actress, her podcast with Jessica Williams (two dope queens) was picked up as a short series on HBO, she’s published two New York Times best selling books, and now she’s taking on her most impressive project yet. Instead of complaining about the diversity in publishing, she went to work and partnered with Plume to launch an imprint, Tiny Reparations Books.

Since Plume is a branch of Penguin Random House, Penguin Random House released a statement saying:

Tiny Reparations Books will be a highly curated imprint dedicated to publishing both literary fiction and nonfiction as well as essay collections that highlight and amplify unique and diverse voices. The imprint is committed to publishing complex, honest, and humorous work that not only reflects the current conversation but also pushes it forward.
