Remember how last week I was talking about how hectic life had been? Well this week was all about getting back into my routine.

I’m a serious routine lover, so it felt amazing to get back on track and reestablish my healthier habits that had faltered during all of the traveling.
Unfortunately, it meant that I also had some, ahem, not so great things that I still needed to deal with. For instance, during April I was doing A LOT of stress shopping. I honestly never thought I would get so sick of seeing that I had a package (because that’s what happens when you order a lot of things and they all ship separately).
I finally have the majority of it returned and cleaned all of the boxes out of my apartment (followed by a round of vacuuming). On the bright side, it’s giving you guys two rounds of shopping reviews (the second one coming tomorrow).
The other thing that was hard to get back into? Working out. Not necessarily getting to pure barre (since I work there), but the actual workout itself. I love pure barre, but if you take a few weeks off, it can feel like starting all over again. My solution? Going every day this week and doing a few platform classes. The result? I’m back in the habit, but oh so sore.
I have to admit though, I really feel much better now and pretty ready to take on the week.
