Resolutions. Everyone’s January keyword, the word on the tip of everyone’s tongue.
Me however? I don’t have any.

I wrote about this last year, but I’m not really a resolutions person. I’m a big believer that if you want to change, then you don’t need a January 1st to start.
For 2015, I talked about how instead of making resolutions, I wanted to focus on two things in 2015 and truthfully, they’re kind of the same for 2016. Last year, I focused on finances and relaxation. This year, it’s finances and stress. I know that sounds weird, but give me a second, okay?
For finances, I feel like I have a much better handle on it this year and I’m finding significantly more ways to be pro-active in my finance life than before. I love seeing that trend, and I only want it to continue in 2016 (in my life and on the blog!).
Now on to the confusing part: stress. No, I’m not saying I wanted to be more stressed this year, that would be ridiculous. What I want, is to find a way to stress the things that are more important in my life and give me pleasure. I want to put an emphasis on those things in 2016 and have those be my driving force. For me, that can be anything from reading more to seeing my family more to knowing when it’s okay to take a day off and relax. It’s all about stressing what’s important.
So now, on to you. Are you making resolutions this year? Do you have any from 2015 that you’re carrying over? Also, I would be remiss to not say this, but thank you again from the bottom of my heart for reading this blog and coming back for post after post. It’s always crazy to think that there’s actually someone on the other end reading this, but I love getting to talk to all of you and hear your thoughts and ideas.

PS I’m also basically in love with every Madewell ring that I come across. I bought a few during their pre-Christmas sale, but here are a few more that I love!
