Every time I’ve tried out linen, it hasn’t worked out well. I always felt like the fabric wasn’t breathable or two heavy. I felt like my skin was suffocating. I finally realized why though. All of those times I was trying “linen” I was actually trying linen blends. Not the same. So when Everlane came out with their newest linen collection, I knew I needed to try it and give linen a second chance.
I’m definitely happy I did. I’m in love! The fabric is so comfortable and breathable. I can see why people love this material for summer and I’m already picking out what pieces I’m going to get next.
On a completely different note, I finally feel like a human again! Since about a week before my company’s conference, my mind was all jumbled and all I could really focus on was getting things done for work. Once I got back, I was exhausted and just felt like a zombie. Since I then turned around and immediately hopped back on a plane to head home, the zombie feeling kind of continued. I was finally back in DC this past weekend though and I had the chance to catch up on life. I ran errands, did laundry, went grocery shopping, slept, aka normal adult things. I finally feel like I’m back in the groove of things and it’s amazing.
