When I got these gingham tennis shoes, I definitely did not realize they would be such a lifesaver.

I was excited to get my gingham tennis shoes when I first came across them (they were gingham after all). But I was nervous about how often I would wear them. Which is honestly what happens with me for most printed shoes.

However, then my executive director told us that she was okay with us wearing tennis shoes during our conference this year! Bingo!

I wore these shoes for four days straight and they were amazing. I spend most of my company’s conference running around and I need a pair of shoes that can hold up. I’ve used my Rockport flats for the past few years during the conference, but I was ready to try something new. Gingham tennis shoes were clearly the answer. They not only held up, but kept me comfortable for the entire conference.

Speaking of my conference, I’m still kind of recovering for it. I came home this past weekend for my cousin’s bat mitzvah and I feel like I slept for at least 50% of the weekend. It was great. I still have one more day to relax in Wisconsin and then it’s back to DC and real life!

How have you been doing lately? I feel like I’ve dropped off of the face of the planet and I’m ready to catch up with everyone now!
