Have you ever added something to your shopping cart just to get free shipping? And then that item ends up being the best of your entire order? That’s exactly what happened with this J.Crew skirt.
I thought that it was cute but pleats have never worked out well for me. They always sat funny on my hips and just made me uncomfortable. But I had seen the skirt on other girls and thought it was adorable. Since I needed something to get me to free shipping, into the cart it went!
When I finally got it in the mail, I didn’t want to take it off. In fact, it was one of the few pieces that I actually kept from the order.
I was so surprised but I’m so happy. I think it’s taught me a lesson in giving new things a chance. It’s hard and I’m not always going to do it, but every once in a while it’s going to lead me to something fun.
