Growing up, I loved to play dress up. I had a huge bin in the corner of my room filled with play clothes so I could play pretend to my heart’s content.
I loved putting on dresses that I could swish around in or twirl around the room. I loved the idea that I could dress up in fancy dress and pretend that I was going somewhere fabulous.
Putting on this dress, I felt the same way.
I was nervous about this dress at first, truth be told. Midi dresses have always scared the heck out of me, as well as dresses with a lot of volume. This dress was a combination of both and at first, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.
The second I put it on and added the heels, I was in love. I couldn’t stop twirling and I absolutely love how the dress flowed.
This dress would be absolutely perfect for a summer wedding or really any event where you dress up. In fact, I even started coming up with potential events that I could go to this summer just so I could wear this dress.
If I can’t find anything though, worse comes to worse, I’ll just hang out on my porch in this dress. Would that be weird?
