January was forever, February flew by, and March was a hot mess. Now it’s April and none of us are allowed to go outside. I, for one, am very happy that I didn’t say that 2020 was going to be my year. Anyone else with me?

So let’s get into what’s going on with me this month.

sharing

What I’m reading on Instagram stories! I’m so behind on this list (like 10 books behind), so I’m trying to use this extra time to catch up. No, it’s not that important to share what I’m reading or what I’ve read, but I love sharing it. I also hope that it can be a nice break from the other sad content out there.

writing

Right now the only things I’m writing are either blog posts or documents for work! Truthfully, I’m spending so much time at my computer during the day right now that if I can get away from it during the rest of the time, then I try to. Which means that I’m not writing anything else!

wishing

I wasn’t so tired at the end of each work day! Everyone is talking about all these fancy meals they’re trying now, but even though I’m working from home, I’m still too tired to cook a full dinner. So trying something fancy feels completely out of the question. I would love to try out of new recipes for dinner, but I just don’t know how it’s going to happen. Maybe I’ll have to actually do some meal prepping if I want that to happen. (Or I’ll just accept it won’t happen and move on.) (image via)

investigating

New shows to watch on my own and with my boyfriend. For myself, I have a pretty long list of things I want to make my way through. But with my boyfriend, well, we have a hard time finding shows we both like. Some of the shows we’ve agreed on have been The Crown, McMillions, Downton Abbey (only the first two seasons for him), Veep, Big Little Lies, ABC Murders, and Little Fires Everywhere. If you have any suggestions based off of that list, please let me know! We tried looking up “shows to watch if you liked The Crown or Downton Abbey” but he was not into that list. (Even though I definitely was.) So someone help!

buying

Right now it’s either retail therapy or needlepoint canvases. I’m trying to calm down on the retail therapy since I have literally nowhere to wear it. But it means that I’ve shifted some of my retail therapy to window shopping needlepoint canvases and looking into buying those. At least needlepoint will keep me occupied though!

As always, linking up with Anne In Residence.
