Don’t worry, I’m not going to talk about the weather. Again. Nope, I’m going to talk about these army green jeans instead.

One thing that I’ve been trying to focus on lately is wearing pieces and outfits that feel like me.
I have my style figured out pretty well: I like clothing that is comfortable, easy to wear, and not at all fussy. While in the summer I might get a little more trendy and colorful, in the winter it’s all about the neutrals. This outfit is a great balance of all of those things. The army green jeans still feel like a neutral, but it’s a tiny splash of color to brighten up the outfit. But the black accessories bring it back to a basic outfit that could be worn to so many different things!
I have a feeling this outfit (and similar variations on it) is going to carry me through the spring. Are you getting your wardrobe ready for spring?

I feel the same way about neutrals in the winter – and about army green being a neutral. This outfit is just perfect, and making me miss my army green chinos that don’t quite fit anymore!
Time to get a new pair!
