In a few days Something Good gets to celebrate two milestones.
It’s 6th anniversary of existing (when I created it as a DIY and recipe blog) and it’s 4 and a half anniversary of being a style and lifestyle blog.
When I started Something Good, it was just as an outlet for me. A way to take away from the drudgery of grad school and spend sometime doing something else. I was surprised seeing that one or two people read it. I never really thought about it being anything else.
Now as 2017 has ended, I love getting to see the community that has been created around Something Good.
I love getting to create content for you and find all of the ways that I can help you. I love getting to hear about your lives, what you’re buying, and what books you’re reading.
It hasn’t been as visible on the front end, but I’ve been taking a lot of risks behind the scenes and working on new projects. It’s been a lot of scary and nerve-wracking work, but I love getting to see how it’s all slowly coming together. I can’t wait to share more with you, but it has been getting me more excited about the year ahead.
This year has been hard and I’m sure 2018 has plenty of challengng surprises in store, but I’m ready to tackle them. I’m ready and excited to bring even more content to you.
But for now, I just want to say, thank you for reading Something Good in 2017.
I can’t wait to bring you more in 2018.
