Celebrating Mother’s Day with the Talbots RSVP Occasion Collection

Sometimes when I’m looking at sites online I wish they had different sections. Like, in addition to Pants, tops, shoes, etc. they also had curated departments. For instance, a section online of all of their clothes that they deemed “work appropriate” or “best for the beach.”

So it was almost like Talbots heard me and was granting my wish when they created their Talbots RSVP Occasion Collection.

The Talbots RSVP Occasion Collection are the clothes that are perfect for the special occasion in your life. Whether it’s going to be a date night, a wedding you’re attending, or a holiday party, you’re going to find that perfect piece. It has everything from shoes to dresses to blazers. The price range is higher than I would normally go, but like everything else, it’s still part of Talbot’s normal promotions.

Normally, the next special occasion I would be celebrating would be Mother’s Day. When I was growing up, Mother’s Day always meant we would do a nice brunch with one side of the family in the morning and then dinner with the other in the evening. Plus, my dad’s birthday always fell around Mother’s Day, so it was like a second celebration!

I won’t be home on Mother’s Day this year (I’m seeing my parents the weekend before), but I loved putting this outfit together as my potential brunch outfit. I love my lace tops and this one was the cutest find. If you look closely, you can see how the lace detail is actually butterflies!
