I was originally thinking of putting up my Fourth Quarter Reading a week ago, but then I made the mistake of looking at this list and it just seemed a little overwhelming for New Years Day. This list was actually kind of difficult for me to put together because I ended up reading so many good books during my fourth quarter reading! I probably could have made the graphic below 12 or 15 books long. But I decided to not do that, so here’s how I decided to divide them up!

As always, if you have any questions about specific books, please ask, I’m more than happy to answer!
I just finished The Fate of the Tearling a few days ago. I was… torn. Because I liked the unexpectedness of the ending, but it felt a little “deus ex machina” for me. She’s a brilliant storyteller, though. I can’t wait to see what she writes next.
I’m 100% with you (that’s what kept it out of the best section for me). I liked it, but it felt too tied up with a bow and nothing was really solved.
I’m so impressed but how much you read! I really need to take the time to fall into a good book again!

Whew, an impressive list! I am currently reading Today Will Be Different and loving it. Was kind of disappointed by Wangs Vs. the World. And have had Americanah on my “oh I should really read that” list for forever.
I had mixed feelings about it at first. I actually had to walk away from it for a bit but then I liked it a lot more when I came back to it.
Americanah is amazing! I would have actually put it under the “Best” section, but since it was a re-read for book club, I kept it in the better section. I really do love it though.
I’ve read some of these and I really need to read some of the others! This will be such good motivation and inspiration!
Let me know if you have questions about any of them!
