Sunday Book Club: Better than Before

I was introduced to Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project a few years ago and I ate it up. I bought her next book, Happier at Home, and went to see her speak when she came to DC. When I heard she was coming out with a new book, Better than Before, I was excited.
Lucky for me, I got a copy of it to review and share with you!
In Better than Before, Rubin covers habits: how we form them, why we form them, and what we can do to help ourselves. Now, don’t stop reading here, it’s actually an incredibly positive book. In this book Rubin not only talks about how we develop bad habits, but what we can do to develop good habits.
In this book she goes into the different types of people when it comes to habits and examples of each of those types so the reader can figure out which one they are. Once you’ve figured that out, Rubin shows you how you can harness that knowledge to develop good habits that can help you achieve your goals and really change your bad habits into good ones. This description though, it’s only barely just 1/3 of the book.
Better than Before has given me insight into how I can make positive changes to my life and ways to finally develop habits I’ve been trying working towards.
Whether or not you’re interested in kicking or building some habits, I would highly suggest reading Better than Before when it arrives on March 17th and then checking out The Happiness Project and Happier at Home. Good habits beget good results.
Begin now.
