I could never make rompers work, so I figured jumpsuits would be the same for me. I was so wrong. Jumpsuits are my jam. I’m obsessed with jumpsuits. I’ve worn them to work, out to dinner, and just to hang out. So I thought it would be fun to show how to style a jumpsuit two ways for two completely different occasions.

How to Style a Jumpsuit Two Ways
Picking Your Jumpsuit
The key to being able to wear your jumpsuit multiple ways to is to have a strong base layer. It doesn’t have to be a solid color or a neutral color. Nope, just go for a color that you’re comfortable with and matches multiple things in your wardrobe.
Personally, I would also want it to be work appropriate. For me, the one below is perfectly appropriate for work, so I have a fairly wide range to work with. It might not be the same for you, so you may just be looking for work and weekend. Do whatever is best for you!
Styling Your Jumpsuit Two Ways
Now that you’ve got your jumpsuit let’s talk about how you can switch it up.
Shoes
Let’s start with the shoes, they’re my favorite anyways. Shoes are the easiest place to switch it up. For my day time look, I just went with a pair of simple sandals that I could slide on and off. But when it was time for my date night look, I threw those sandals to the side for a pair of gold block heel sandals. They would have also gone great with a pair of stilettos. If I was going to work, then I would have gone with a pair of flats. Another great casual option? sneakers!
Bags and Purses
These are so easy to switch out! My giant tote out for a clutch or a crossbody. Just upgrade your big carry all bag out for something cute and classy.
Accessories
Alright, so I didn’t really do much for accessories in this post. For both looks, I wore a small necklace, but then for my dinner date look I added some cute gold rings. In other cases though, I would keep my day look pretty low key and then glam it up for date night.
Outerwear
Since it’s the middle of the summer, is this really outerwear or just toppers? I have no idea. Honestly, in most cases, you probably don’t need anything because it’s too hot. But you will probably go into somewhere with air conditioning, in which case, you’ll want to grab something.
For casual looks, I’d suggest a denim jacket or utility jacket. If you go for a utility jacket, look for something fitted or cropped though, so you don’t look too sloppy.
If you’re at work, I’d say look for a blazer or cardigan. I have a few great options below that you can look at.
For date night, a summer cape scarf is a great option. You could also do a moto jacket or even a fun vest.
