I don’t mean to talk about weather in yet another post, but this weather has me so confused lately. The temperature goes up and down and it’s supposed to hit 60 this week. In February! What is this nonsense? It’s made getting dressed a little difficult, so I’ve been focusing on layering a lot. My favorite thing to layer? This striped peplum (which I also own in two solid colors).

You’ve probably caught on by this point, but I’ve fallen so in love with loose peplum tops. They’ve such a fun twist on a basic tee and they’re just a little cuter too. When I discovered that stores had started taking that a step further and started putting striped peplum tops out, I was head over heels excited.
This winter has been all about layering and this top has been perfect for that. Since the temperature is currently all over the place, I’ll pile the layers on in the morning and take them off as the day goes on.
In non-clothing news, how was your weekend? I took a quick trip up to NYC to see my friend in his first Broadway show! I did a lot of acting training growing up and many of my friends from those classes stayed in the business. I’ve loved getting to see them in shows over the past few years and it’s been so wonderful watching their careers continue to advance. I have to admit, it’s also pretty fun to look through the program and see my friend’s names.
I came from NYC Saturday afternoon and I’ve spent the rest of the weekend blogging, going to pure barre, and celebrating a friend’s birthday. What about you?
