Now that it’s getting sunnier outside, I’ve gotten bit hardcore by the spring cleaning bug. Being the type-a person that I am though, I’ve decided that I need to come up with a plan to get it done.
Marie Kondo the ish out of my apartment
By this point you’ve definitely heard of the Marie Kondo method of cleaning out your apartment (TLDR: only keep things that give you joy), well even though I’ve embraced it a little bit, I’ve decided to up it. Before I want to clean I want to get rid of everything I don’t want.
Get rid of the clothes
As part of Kondo-ing my apartment, I’m going to focus on cleaning out my closet (again) and selling things that I don’t wear anymore. In case you’re curious, I’ve started selling on Poshmark. It’s been a pretty good experience so far and if you’re interested in joining, you can use my code JSHNA to get $10 off your first order (it’s worth it, trust me). If you just want to check out the items I’ve listed so far, they’re here!
Clean, clean, clean
Lucky for me, I like cleaning, but there are some parts of my apartment that have been a little neglected. It’s time for me to clean those areas and feel like I can start fresh again.
Spring clean my life
Yeah, it sounds a little silly, but there’s no harm in taking some time to reflect on my life right now and what parts I want or need to focus on a little more. Or a little less. Hopefully, this new book I’ve picked up will help in that department.
Do you have any spring cleaning plans? Any tips I can steal?
