Note: This post is sponsored by HTP Books. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Something Good.

I know it’s only April, but I can’t be the only person dreaming of a fully vaccinated beach vacation, right? (It might also help that I’m currently planning one for the summer.) But just laying around somewhere warm, and reading books all day sounds like a dream come true. Of course, that means also planning out all of the books I’m going to read on my trip. Or at least picking out all of the spring books I’m going to read in anticipating of my trip.

The good news? Even if you aren’t planning a beach trip, HTP Books has a number of compelling spring books coming out that you can indulge yourself with! These spring book releases are so good, I finished each of them within a few days. Each was more intriguing than the next and I didn’t want to put them down.

Spring Books for Your Next Beach Trip

THE BOOKSTORE ON THE BEACH by Brenda Novak

Eighteen months ago, Autumn Divac’s husband went missing. Her desperate search has yielded no answers, and she can’t imagine moving forward without him. But for the sake of their two teenage children, she has to try.
Autumn takes her kids home for the summer to the charming beachside town where she was raised. She seeks comfort working alongside her mother and aunt at their bookshop, only to learn that her daughter is facing a huge life change and her mother has been hiding a terrible secret for years. And when she runs into the boy who stole her heart in high school, old feelings start to bubble up again. Is she free to love him, or should she hold out hope for her husband’s return?

Harper Collins

Wow. Wow. I don’t know if I can say more about this book without giving things away. But let’s just say, I couldn’t have guessed some of the things coming in this book if I had tried. Definitely read it!

THE PATH TO SUNSHINE COVE by RaeAnne Thayne

With the emotional pull of Debbie Macomber, Barbara Delinsky and Susan Wiggs, RaeAnne Thayne tells three love stories in one: between a husband and wife who need to find their way back together; between a man and woman taking one more chance at love; and between two sisters, trying to heal the past and look forward to their future.
[Thayne’s] books are wonderfully romantic, feel-good reads that end with me sighing over the last pages.

—Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times bestselling author

Honestly, I didn’t know how I was going to feel about this book. It looked like it was going to be a little too sappy for me. Oh my gosh though, I was so wrong. A lesson to us all! I think this book might have ended up being my favorite. Each of these characters were SO enjoyable in their own ways and I would love if Thayne were to write a sequel to this book. Going back to Sunshine Cove in some way would just be amazing.

SUMMERTIME GUESTS by Wendy Francis

The Seafarer is the place to see and be seen in the summer…
With its rich history and famous guests, the glamorous Boston hotel is no stranger to drama. But the bustle at the iconic property reaches new heights one weekend in mid-June when someone falls tragically to her death, the event rippling through the lives of four very different people.
Over three sun-drenched days, as the truth about the woman who died—and the secret she was hiding—is uncovered, these four strangers become linked in the most unexpected of ways. Together, they just might find the strength they need to turn their own lives around.

Harper Collins

You know who loves a good twist? This girl. And this novel had some excellent twists in it. But it also gave you the time to fall in love with each character, just a little bit. With so many characters, you’d think that would be difficult, but Francis does an excellent time of allowing you to have time with all of his characters. During each chapter, you’re so engrossed in one person’s story that you almost forget that there are other main characters in the story!

JUST MY LUCK by Adele Parks

A gripping tale of friendship, money, betrayal and good luck gone bad…For fifteen years, Lexi and Jake have played the same six numbers with their friends. Over drinks, dinner parties and summer barbecues, the three couples
have discussed the important stuff—kids, marriages, careers—and they’ve laughed off their disappointment when they failed to win anything.
But then the unthinkable happens. There’s a rift in the group. Someone is caught in a lie. And soon after, six numbers come up that change everything forever.
Lexi and Jake have a ticket worth million. And their friends are determined to claim a share.

Harper Collins

Okay, so I haven’t finished this book, so I can’t give it a proper review yet, but isn’t the description of it so intriguing?!

Whether you’re going to read these books and pretend you’re at the beach or packing them along for your next beach vacation, make sure these spring novels are the next books you pick up! Trust me, you’ll love every minute of them.
