Is it morbid to wear black in the summer? I normally try to stray away from it because it makes my super pale skin basically reflective, but this silk v-neck dress may have changed my mind.

Seriously though. I can wear this dress to basically everything. Work, weekends, that networking event that I should probably go to.
The only thing is, I normally shy away from black during the summer….but I think it’s okay, right? I can just pair it with a lot of summery things, right? I think that this outfit would be great for weekends if I add a jean jacket. For the work day? I think I’m going to pair it with a pair of pointy flats and cardigan (but I can’t choose which yet).
Do you have any suggestions about how I should style it?
