Time for some shopping reviews! These pieces actually aren’t from this past weekend’s sale, but from a few earlier sales. I didn’t have much luck with this group, but I found one or two good pieces. I also decided to give some Gap pieces another chance!
Gap Cowl Neck Sweater Dress, XSP
I wanted this Gap dress to be perfect and it almost was. It was so so soft and I could have curled up in it and gone to sleep. Unfortunately it had zero shape. Like, nothing. And with the brown color, it looked like I was wearing a bag.
Verdict: Return
LL Bean Woman’s Signature Cotton Fisherman Sweater, XSP
I was ready to like and keep this sweater, but something about it just felt off to me. I think I would have preferred if it had been a smidge longer and just a little softer? I might try this sweater in another color though.

Old Navy Hi-Lo Dolman Sleeve Sweater, XS
Okay, if you saw my budget yesterday, than you already know that I kept both of these sweaters. I love how soft they are and the fit is perfect. Though, something was slightly off about the fit of the red one, but I’m still going to keep it.
Verdict: Keep
Gap Cozy turtleneck waffle sweater, XSP
Another so close, but no cigar (Do people still say that?). The sleeves were just too big and floppy. I think I would have been okay with it in some cases, but it really just did nothing for me.
Verdict: Return
Caslon Side Snap Sweater, XSP
I got this in two colors and they were cute, but meh. Even though I got a petite sizing, I still felt like they were a little too big. I did love the side snaps. Someone should get this sweater though, because it’ll look really cute on someone! Just not me.

Halogen Pocket Sweater, SP
I waited until this was on sale and by that point it was already sold out in a lot of sizes. I decided to try a SP and the fit was okay, but I could tell it was a little too big. I also didn’t really like the mock neck. I thought I would like it more, but nope. However, the softness of this sweater was unbelievable, I almost considered keeping it just for that.

Target Women’s Long Sleeve Peplum Knit Top Black/White XS – Xhilaration, XS
Sigh. I could tell as soon as I put this on that it was for someone taller than me. The peplum hit me just a tad too low. Also, the material was weird. It felt weird and was a little see through.
Verdict: Return
