Shopping Reviews Vol. 8

Today’s shopping post is a little shorter because I’m still waiting for some things to come in. I have a feeling some of my NSale stuff will arrive in time for a post next Tuesday (sick of hearing about that sale yet?), but in the mean time, I still have a few goodies that I wanted to share. Just follow the jump!

Left: Topshop Stripe Sweater Dress (Size 4)

Guys, I can’t decide about this dress. Normally just saying that would be an automatic no, but I kept remembering how much fun dresses like this are when it gets cold because it’s a blank slate for layering. Plus, I finally found a stripe dress that fits well and is super soft. Actually, I think I may have just talked myself into keeping it. Just a reminder, since this is from the Topshop line, the sizing is a little skewed. I would suggest ordering two sizes if you can. Hurry though, the dress is selling out fast!

Love. So much love. I sized up one size for a looser fit and that was a great decision (remember, it was junior sizing!). This is definitely a much lighter sweater (it’ll be perfect for early fall), so if you’re looking for a heavier fabric, keep looking.

Target Sleeveless Button Up Shirt (XS)

You’ve already seen this shirt in an outfit post, so you know the outcome, but I just had to share it again. This fabric was much softer than I expected. Also, you can’t see it in this picture, but there was a slit up the back of this shirt that went right to the waistline. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it, but that honestly made the top even better. It wasn’t tight around the waist and it allowed for a little breeze, which was a life saver in this heat.

Something about this dress just felt off. First, the fabric was thicker than I expected it to be. I also wasn’t a fan of how the dress hung.  Overall, this dress just wasn’t worth it.
