I feel like I go through cycles with which stores I shop at the most for clothing. Right now, it seems to be a lot of J.Crew Factory. It’s for a good reason though, J.Crew Factory basically kicks butt when it comes to the best classic fall and winter clothing.
I actually saw this skirt on the J.Crew website last year and I absolutely fell in love with it. However, since it was J.Crew the price was insanely high so I decided to wait for it to go down. Apparently that was a huge mistake because the skirt sold out close to immediately. Needless to say, I wasn’t going to make that mistake when I saw it go up on J.Crew Factory. The skirt was true to size (I generally wear a 0 in skirts at J.Crew Factory) and it fit perfectly. Additionally the little extra shimmer from the gold elephants is going to make this such a fun skirt for the holidays.
Verdict: So many keeps.
I got this top through Try.com figuring that I would try it out and probably end up just sending it back. However, after trying it on once, I pretty much knew it was a win. Though it’s a little long, the slit up the side make it clear that I’m not just wearing a mini dress. Additionally, the fabric is surprisingly soft and not as itchy as one would expect. the only downside to this top is that as you can see if you layer it over something, that color will show through.

This shirt was suprisngly soft and comfortable. Normally I have issues with the shoulders being too small, but it hit perfectly with this top. However, I already have a chambray in this color and I’m actually looking for one in a darker color.

J.Crew Factory flared skirt in tweed (Size 0)
I was ready to love this skirt and it fit true to size, but….there was a little too much flare. Unlike the other flare skirts, the fabric is significantly less structured, causing the flares to be significantly more emphasized. It felt just a little too overwhelming for me. Additionally, there is silver thread woven throughout the skirt to give it more sparkly. While that wasn’t a deciding factor for me, it is something to take into consideration.

Comfortable and cute, but it was a little too short in front. The dress is cut so the sides dip a little longer than the front, which was cute, but I would have preferred the same length all around. However, the fabric was very soft and comfortable. Ultimately, while I liked it, I didn’t see the need to spend the money on it.

Okay, I seriously need to apologize for these pictures. The sun setting early has made it hard to take pictures after work. However, this dress does have an adorable plaid pattern. It’ll be perfect for work with black tights and booties. If you want to see the pattern, I would suggest clicking on the link. Plus, it’s on sale right now!

Stem Polka Dot Sweatshirt (S)
This sweater has been going in and out of stock like it’s nobody’s business. This sweater, while cute and cozy, was just a little too big. I’m going to keep watching to see if it comes back in an XS, but if you see it in your size, snag it!

Loft Utility Blouse (XS)
I’ve talked about this shirt approximately 1,000 times on twitter already. I already own it in white, so it was really just a matter of seeing how I felt about the green color. the verdict? I loved it! In fact, since taking these pictures, I’ve already worn it.

J.Crew Factory wool-blend cable-knit sweater (XS)
I’m a little on the fence about this sweater. I’m currently looking for one to replace my old Gap cable knit sweater, which was 100% cotton. This sweater however is a wool blend, which is equally comfortable, but obviously a different weight. I think I’m going to hold on to it for now and try on a few other sweaters to compare.
