Say what you want to say... | Something Good, lace skirt, peep toe wedge, navy tee, j.crew factory tee, loft skirt
I figured that after Tuesday’s post, I would try to share some more of my work outfits with you. This one is actually one of my favorites since I’m a sucker for lace and statement necklaces. I love adding the heels to them, but truthfully, I tend to stick with flats at my job. Also, I know it’s just a plain tee, but I’m obsessed with the vintage cotton tees from J.Crew Factory. I’ve been pairing them with just about everything lately.

Tee: J.Crew Factory (Same)
Skirt: Loft Outlet (Old, Similar)
Shoes: Nine West (Same)
Necklace: J.Crew Factory (Similar)
Clutch: Target (Similar)
Anyways, would you like a real life, “Wow, I was an idiot” story? If not, then feel free to skip this one. Okay, story time. Since this is my first break in a while where I don’t have anything planned after work and my part time job is off for a week, I’ve been taking this week to stay in at night, relax, work on some blog stuff, and catch up with my Hulu queue. Well, Tuesday night I realized that if I didn’t do laundry soon, I would be out of work out clothes, so off to the building’s washer and dryer I went (please note, I’m staying in a temporary apartment right now, so I haven’t done laundry there before). I started fairly early in the evening so I figured I would be done early enough that I could still get to bed early. Well. After the dryer was finished, I went back and my clothes were still damp. I decided to just run the load again since they would be done fairly early. No luck, still damp after the second round. Convinced the dryer was broken, I then threw it into the upper dryer (sitting on top of the lower dryer) and when I went back to check on it 15 minutes before it was done….still damp. By this point I was annoyed, out almost $6, and I just wanted to go to bed. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong, but then I realized that the lower dryer was now running…out of curiosity I opened it up and saw a completely empty dryer running through.
I had been paying for one dryer and putting my clothing in the other ALL FREAKING NIGHT.
Giving up, I carried it all back to my apartment and proceeded to hang up the clothes everywhere to dry. When I woke up Wednesday morning, I burst out laughing, seeing myself surrounded by clothing hanging from every possible surface it could hang from in the apartment.
So that’s your post for today, a really classy outfit paired with complete stupidity.
