The second half of September seemed to just move a little a little slower than everything else. But now it’s October, it’s my favorite season, and I have a few road trips planned for this month!
Currently, Vol. 55: Road Trips
admiring
These news boots that just arrived (c/o) and these new boots that I ordered when the popped on sale yesterday. Do I necessarily need new boots? Probably not. Will this be motivation to get rid of more shoes? I hope so.
going
On the road soon! I have two road trips planned for this month and I’m so excited. I don’t think most people would enjoy being stuck in a car, but I love the excuse to just sit and reason. Also, needlepointing is the perfect car activity, so it’s great to put on an audiobook and just needlepoint for a few hours. It also really helps that my boyfriend likes to do the driving on road trips.
making
All the pumpkin things! It’s sweater weather and pumpkin foods weather. I fully embrace my basic-ness and love all things pumpkin flavored. Whether it has actually pumpkin or just pumpkin spices I love it either way. I’ve already made pumpkin scones, I’ve been sipping on pumpkin tea, and I plan to make pumpkin risotto soon. Oh, and don’t worry, I’ve already had some pumpkin ice cream and it was delicious! (pumpkin image via)
scheduling
Things this month! Oh my gosh, I’m actually doing things this month! Things that require my planner. (Yes, I’m still using my planner.) Wow. We’ve already celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday, we’re planning a mini cabin getaway, another weekend trip later this month, and I have strategically planning cleaning and organizing planned around the next two weeks. I don’t know if I’ve scheduled this much in a while, but my planner is thriving.
wishing
That all of the streaming services didn’t wait so long to drop the massive amount of shows premiering this month and November. I feel like this is the content I’ve been waiting for the last four months! It’s okay though, between Emily in Paris, the new season of Schitts Creek, the new season of The Crown, and The Spanish Princess, I have a feeling that I’m going to be well stocked for winter. Plus, I finally figured out how to install HBOMax on my fire stick which is going to be GREAT.
