Do Something Good
Let’s just say it, not everyone works their best at the same time. Some people do their best work at 10pm and others would rather wake up at 6 am and start getting to work. It’s just a fact.
I’ve always been tied to my desk, so I’ve truthfully never thought much about myself or when I work best. I just knew that I like to go to bed early and I’m more of a morning person. But now that I haven’t needed to commute and be in the office during certain hours, I’ve been learning a little bit more about when I’m at my best and scheduling my remote work hours.
I thought that this article about remote work hours by a Zapier employee was fascinating. It’s all about how their employees have learned to structure their own remote work hours to best fit their days and make each day the most productive.
It’s given me some great ideas about how to restructure my own day to make sure that the hours when I have to be available for my teammates are the most productive. I highly suggest reading it!
