Hi, I’m Dana and I love organization. Sadly, I’m currently surrounded by clutter. Boxes from orders, gifts for people, and blog projects. Things that need to be sorted and others that need to be put away.
I should clarify though, it’s not dirty, it’s just clutter.
But I’m going to clean it up in the next week or two, even if it makes me lose sleep. Why? Well when it comes to cleaning your home for the holidays, I feel like most people fall into two categories. First, cleaning because guest are coming over. Second, cleaning so they can come home to a clean house, post vacation.
For me, it’s typically the latter.
I love coming home to an apartment that’s perfectly uncluttered, with clear counter tops, and clean floors. Except cleaning my floors gets so frustrating. I swear, they get dusty within two days of me cleaning them.
It also means I’m always up for trying a new way to easily and quickly clean my floors (short of spending $500 on a roomba).

This past weekend though, I got to try the Bona PowerPlus. I was impressed with how quickly it cleaned my floors and cleared away the dust. I used Bona PowerPlus Microfiber Pad and PowerPlus Hardwood Floor Cleaner which was able to not only clear away dust but clean my floors as well. (Plus, it was easy to maneuver around my apartment.)
I really wish that the light in my apartment had been better, so I could show you before and after pictures. Granted, I still need to work on that clutter problem, so maybe not.
I’m most likely to have a few guests over before my next trip, but either way there’s going to be cleaning happening. Either way, when I start cleaning, I plan on integrating Bona PowerPlus into my cleaning routine.
If you’re interested in testing out the Bona PowerPlus, it’s not too expensive, so I’d definitely suggest trying it out to clean your apartment or home this month.
Do you clean your house pre-vacation or do you conveniently schedule your cleaners to come the day before you get back?
