Note: Today’s post was done in collaboration with Poshmark Sharer and I was offered free services in exchange for a honest review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Something Good!
For months I claimed that I was going to clean out my closet. Once that finally happened, I spent months staring at the pile of clothes, thinking about how I was going to get them up on Poshmark. I finally got them up on Poshmark and then….crickets. Okay, not complete crickets, but it wasn’t the bonanza I wasn’t hoping for. Despite following people and sharing items, my pieces weren’t flying off the metaphorical shelves.
Then I got an email that truthfully, I thought was a spam email at first (SO SORRY). It was from Poshmark Sharer, telling me about how they were a Poshmark Virtual Assistant company and that they would help me boost my Poshmark sales. Too good to be true?
It turns out, it wasn’t! They were so amazing in fact, that I needed to share the results (and a few of their secrets) with you.
The Beginning
Here were my stats when I began. Not too shabby, but not amazing.
The Experience with Poshmark Sharer
To let me experience their full services for review, Poshmark Sharer upgraded me to a free trial of their Diamond Services. This meant that for a full month, they would offer:
- null
- 3,300 Shares a Day
- 1,000 Target Follows Day
- Unlimited 1-On-1 Closet Consultation
- Purchase Reward Points
- Customizable
- Affiliate Rewards
I mostly just took advantage of the shares and target follows, but I loved that they offered the other consultation opportunities as well.
How did it work?
For 30 days straight, they would share my own products 4 times throughout the day and then share community products once in the morning. Finally, they would follow individual users once a day. (They were like my personal Tailwind for Poshmark!)
Sharing
Sharing is incredibly important on Poshmark. When you share your products on Poshmark, it gets them in front of EVERYONE who is following you and everyone who is following that brand. The Poshmark market is heavily saturated market, so it’s also easy for your products to get lost in the crowd. The more self-shares you do, the more your closet will be seen.
Community shares are also important, because it’s a good tit-for-tat. It shows support for the people you’re following and the rest of the community. Plus, if you share items from your community, they’ll share your items, getting you more exposure.
Followers
The nice part about following people on Poshmark is that unlike Instagram, most people are pretty open to doing follow for follows (without comments requesting it). So you can just go down and follow a bunch of people. With this service though, they target individual people to follow, so you aren’t just following inactive users who will never notice you or help your closet.
The Actual Sales
When it came to actually negotiating sales and packaging, I was on my own. Truthfully, I was okay with that. In some cases, I just wanted to get rid of the product, so I would accept whatever bid they gave me.
But having this control also gave me the opportunity to send out different discounts and offers on different products, which I loved! I also had more people taking advantage of my offers and opportunities then.
My Final Results with Poshmark Sharer
Now that it’s been a month, what do my Poshmark closet stats look like?
Let’s look at the things you probably care the most about. Here are all of the things that happened in ONE MONTH thanks to Poshmark Sharer.
- I sold 18 items
- I earned $281.65
- Poshmark Ambassador Status achieved! What does that mean? I’m eligible for Poshmark campaigns, Poshmark users are recommended to follow me (aka a larger potential customer base), and I’m seen as a trusted seller!
Would I Recommend Poshmark Sharer’s Service?
YES. Especially if you need to get your stuff sold and you’re lazy about Poshmark like I am. I would say to maybe start small and figure out exactly what you need (they can help you with that). Also, make sure you have your clothes uploaded beforehand, otherwise they have nothing to work with.
If you don’t have the money to spend right now, they also have a blog where they post great Poshmark advice and talk about what’s happening in the world of Poshmark. It’s really everything you need to know.
That’s it! Now go upload your own Poshmark closet and start selling!
