Pop of Pink

I feel like I’ve been in a little bit of a rut with my outfit ideas lately for work and the blog. With the weather getting so cold and gross, all I want to do is throw on a lot of big comfy layers and get as quickly from one place to the next. This works for keeping me warm, but it hasn’t worked well for creative outfits and blog pictures. Hopefully I’ll have some more daylight hours soon and have some more fun outfits up here that aren’t just sweaters and leggings/jeans (there are going to be a few more of those first…).

That being said, my little winter break from work gave me the chance to pull out some old pieces that I haven’t gotten the chance to wear lately. For instance, these boots! They were a DIY project that I did last year and I loved them, but since I made them right before summer hit, they didn’t get much wear until now. They’ve been great for adding a little color into my outfits now since I’ve hit my mid-winter-all-the-neutrals phase. Anyone else hit this phase? I feel like I’m not going to want anything colored until the weather gets sunnier!
