planning
Free time! I wish I was kidding. Somehow I ended up being busy every single night this week and then I’m going straight out of town. I really don’t want this entire summer to look like that so I’m working hard to not let it happen. That might mean this turns into the summer of saying no. (And that’s totally okay.)
wishing
Someone would send me a mini inside grill. Haha was that the definition of wasting a wish? There are just a lot of grilling recipes that I want to try out but my apartment’s grill is either always broken or being used. I’ll probably just suck it up and buy myself one, but no harm in wishing it would just magically appear. I also wish my floors would vacuum themselves (though I guess that’s the same as wishing a roomba would magically appear).
learning
A lot, I hope! I have a bad habit of getting online courses for my blog and not quite finishing them. It’s a terrible habit and I don’t know how to kick it. So this summer my goal is to actually try to restart and finish some of these darn courses! If anyone needs an accountability partner for something, I’d love to pair up with you and we can help each other!
browsing
The library shelves (both online and in person). To me, summer means an excuse to sit outside and read for hours on end. Which means I need a long list of books assembled, right? I normally keep my holds list nice and long, but there’s no harm in adding a few extra books to it.
going
To Pittsburgh! I’m so excited to head back to Pittsburgh this weekend. It’s a quick trip for a wedding (I blame terrible Megabus), but I’m excited to see some friends and squeeze a few things into my free time on Saturday during the day. I’ll actually also be heading back to Pittsburgh in a few weeks later for another wedding. I love Pittsburgh so much, so I’m always excited for any opportunity to visit.
