It’s back and with a new fancy banner too! Last year we went completely through the shopping process, from picking items to the final purchase. It was fun, but this year I wanted to go a little more in depth about different tools I use to help save money during the holiday shopping season and throughout the rest of the year. Each Saturday throughout November (and maybe a little into December) I’ll focus on a different shopping tool and share with you how I use it and how you can use it too!
This week we’re going to look at one of the tools I’ve been using the longest: Ebates.
Ebates is an online site that allows you to earn cash back when you shop online.
So how does that happen?
Each store on Ebates’s site is assigned a percentage of cash back you’ll receive from your purchase and every once in a while, Ebates will have amazing deals where they double your percentage back. Plus Ebates will also give you discount codes for any current promotions your retailers may have!
What do you need to do?
All you have to do is go to Ebates, find the site you want to go shopping on, and click on Ebates’s link to go to the site. That’s it! So every time I want to buy something from Gap, I fill up my cart on Gap.com, then go to Ebates, search for their Gap link, click it, complete my purchase on the Gap site, and then I’ll get 2% back from my purchase.
2% back may not seem like much, but if you consistently use Ebates when you shop online, it adds up fast. Imagine, you could actually earn money if you do all of your online shopping for the holidays this year! Sign up for your own account now and start shopping! Or start picking out where you’re going to shop this year. Either way, sign up for Ebates and start earning money!
Note: this post was not sponsored by Ebates, but I do receive cash back if you sign up using my link. You don’t have to sign up using my link, but I would love if you did!
