Um, how is my November 2016 budget already done? Even more important, how is my 2016 budget done?!

(In case you’re confused, I decided to shift my budgeting months to better align with the seasons and my spending. With that shift, my budget ends in November.)

The good news is that while I finished this quarter a little over budget, my budget overall was under! While I definitely had some slip ups over this year, I think that I did a much better job at looking at the items I was buying and only keeping the things that I really loved. This coming year, I’m still going to stick to my budget, but also try to limit the number of things I actually buy. I’m hoping that between limiting the number of things I buy and another closet clean out (do they ever stop?), it’ll help my shopping habit even more.
