On Saturday my parents and I decided to take a trip down to Galena, a tiny little town in Northern Illinois. For those of you who have ever watched Field of Dreams, they actually filmed part of the movie in Galena! We had traveled down to Galena two years ago during Thanksgiving break and I loved the town. We spent the day walking around the town, buying gifts from the little shops and sampling all of the candy, jams, and wines all of the stores had out (trust me there were a lot of them).
My dad and I agreed that our pictures would have been a lot better if there weren’t so many cars around.
I really want to know who’s idea it was to put the door on the third floor.
Since I saw that the weather would be a little warmer on Saturday than it had been in the previous days, I decided layers from my suitcase would be best. I debated bringing out the flats for walking around today, but I wasn’t in the mood to risk being cold, so my booties won out in the end.
