It feels like I just wrote my last budget. Probably because I was late to post my last budget, so I really did just write my April 2020 Budget. But here’s my, fairly neutral, May 2020 Budget.

Thoughts
I didn’t shop as much this month. Really just one or two big shopping trips (well, online ordering). But unlike last month, which was a bunch of ordering and returning, I actually had some success on these trips. I limited my orders and actually ended up keeping what I ordered! Yes, I’m pretty impressed with myself too.
Yes, I did go over budget a little, but the difference is that I’m already worn almost everything I purchased. I think there’s only two items I haven’t worn yet. Which for me is pretty impressive.
After my little freak out last month about what to get rid of when I have no idea what I’ll be doing in a month, I’ve relaxed a little bit (kind of). I’ve mostly gone back to leaving my closet alone, but if I find something that I’m not interested in anymore, I’ll pull it out and add it to my “to post on poshmark” collection. It’s put a lot less pressure on myself and helped me calm down a bit. It’s also helped that I’m only buying things that I can wear right now, in this stuck inside time. I’m not buying for “the future” in any way shape or form. That way I don’t have to try to even make room in my closet for clothes that don’t have a place in my life right now.
Okay, that rambling kind of came out of nowhere. I’ll let you get back to your normal day now!
Happy one day closer to the weekend!
