You know where I haven’t shopped in a while? Loft. No shade against Loft, I had just realized that whenever I shopped at Loft, those were the pieces that didn’t make it longer than a season in my wardrobe. Once I realized that, I had more or less abandoned the store. But there have been some Loft summer pieces there that have been on my mind for a while, so I decided it was time to check them out. Of course, I ended up checking out a few other Loft summer pieces as well. I couldn’t help it.
Loft Petite Striped Midi Skirt, 0P White
The second I put this skirt on, I was sold. I actually ended up keeping this outfit on and just going about the rest of my day, that’s how much I liked this skirt! It’s incredibly comfortable and lightweight. The skirt is lined so it’s not see-through and the overlay is a more gauzy fabric. Plus, for the petite girls out there, the length is perfect if you order the petite sizes.
Verdict: Keep
Loft Ribbed Sweater Shell, XS Regular Whisper White
I love this top! I don’t know the purpose of a sweater without sleeves in the summer (that may be the weirdest sentence I’ve ever said). But, this is a lightweight knit and it’s super soft. The fit is true to size and honestly, I really like it!
Verdict: Keeping it!
Loft Floral Tie Neck Peplum Shell, XXS, Midnight Glaze
This top looked like it was going to be huge, so when I ordered it, I decided to go a size down. There was still a lot of fabric, so I don’t know how much the sizing difference made (other than the arm hole sizing). I actually really like the pattern on this top and it would be really cute for casual Fridays. But, I don’t know how sensible it would be for wearing the rest of the week…or really any time other than weekends. I like it, but I think it’s going back to the store.
Verdict: Return unless I can come up with more work appropriate outfits for this.
Loft Covered Button Down Strappy Cami, XS Pink Fizz
This top is so cute! It’s the less expensive version of one I saw at Nordstrom, but the quality is about the same. I don’t really have much more to say about it other than that (to be fair). The fit is true to size and it’s a nice pale pink/blush color.
Verdict: I just need to decide if I need another pink tank
Loft Dot Floral Tie Neck Mixed Media Shell, XS, Forever Navy
The fabric on this shirt is nice, the fit is good, and it looks okay on. But, there’s nothing extraordinary about this top. It’ll work and it’s a good basic, but it’s just there. I’m not that keen on the double bow (there are two strings for the tie instead of one).
Verdict: Return (I think??)
Loft Tie Waist Short Sleeve Shirtdress, XS Coral Red
I heard everyone rave about this dress and how much they loved this. I think I may have liked this dress more if I had tried on the petite size. The fabric was okay, but the dress was too long on me. I didn’t really feel like I was swimming in it, but I could tell it was cut for someone slightly bigger. I could have searched for a smaller size, but I didn’t love it enough to do so.
Verdict: Return
Loft Tie Striped Shirred Split Neck Shell XS White
Since you already saw this top last week, you know that I liked it and kept it! It’s great for layering for work or pairing with jeans on the weekend. The top isn’t see through and the fabric is fairly comfortable. The only downside is that the cut in front went just a bit too low. I countered this at work by using the eye-hook at the top to clip it together and make it a more modest slit at the top.
Verdict: keep
Loft Shirred Split Neck Shell, Eucalyptus Leaf XS
I don’t know what went wrong, but this top was HUGE. Or at least just way too big. I liked the color though, so there was that? But yeah, if you like this top, SIZE DOWN. Or try the petite sizing. The fabric seem pretty nice though, so it would be worth it if you’re on the hunt for a similar top.
Verdict: Return

Loft Bow Mule Flats, Size 6
I forgot to take pictures before I returned these, but that’s fine. I thought these shoes were going to be super cute, but they ended up looking like the witch’s shoes out of the Wizard of Oz. Just too pointy and definitely not cute. Save your money kids.
Verdict: Return.
