I made a decision that for this month I wasn’t going to include anything from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Not because I’m not going to count it in my budget (it’s definitely going in), but because of the method that I’m using for my budget this year. Because I knew I would be ordering and returning a lot, I want to make sure that I’ve seen and tried on everything before I decide what I’m going to keep and count it in my budget.

I’ve already returned about half of what I’ve ordered, and I expect a lot more returns to come. If you’re curious about what I’ve ordered so far from that sale, my posts are here, here, and here. But this way I can make sure that I’m truly only keeping what I want from that sale and attempt to stay in my budget.

For this month though? A few things I’ve been looking at for a while and a full gaps I’ve been looking to fill (gold sandals, a red skirt, and a pink shirt). I’m also happy to finally have a black shirtdress that first!
