Hero of the Week, Hero of the Year, Hero of her Community, no matter what way you look at it, Julia Foos is spending her summer doing something really really good.
A teenager in Cleveland, Julia has spent the last three years collecting over 25,000 books for children in need all over the Greater Cleveland area. She started this project when she was only 14 and learned about how many children in Cleveland have limited access to books. As an avid reader, Julia leaped into action and pledged to collect 250 books. She flew by that goal though and decided to keep going.
Three years later and Julia Foos is still going strong!
