It’s my last outfit post of 2018 and I think it’s perfect to end on a Blogger Style Two Ways post with Anne.
What’s Blogger Style Two Ways?
Blogger Style Two Ways is my link up with Anne in Residence, my closet twin. Each month, Anne and I pick an item that we both have in our closets and show you two different ways that you can style it! This month, we’re styling the striped J.Crew Tissue Turtleneck.

The J.Crew Tissue Turtleneck
This is one of the best turtleneck’s that I’ve found for layering. It lives up to it’s name of tissue by being thin and light. Yet, it’s not see through and I never feel like I’m going to freeze if that’s my main layer.

Because I’m me, I of course had to get the striped version! I loved the striped turtleneck because it’s cute enough that I can wear it on it’s own. But at the same time, it’s a great layering piece. it’s so much fun to see the little pop of stripes come out of the sleeves and the neck when I layer it under a sweater.

How I Styled My Striped Turtleneck
For today’s post, I decided to share how I styled my turtleneck for work AND on my trip to Europe. By pairing it with a dark green skirt, I was able to add a bit of color to this outfit so it wasn’t all black and white. But, since the green is muted, it still lets the outfit feel a little more subdue.
I included the over the knee boots for some extra warmth, since it can get pretty chilly. The leather also gives a nice contrast to the suede skirt. Also, even though leather OTK boots can be kind of iffy for some offices, I played them down by keeping the rest of the outfit pretty conservative (I explain this in further detail in my post about pairing over the knee boots with a skirt).
Now head over to Anne’s post to see how she styled her striped turtleneck!
