Alright friends, it’s time for some J.Crew Factory reviews! Before they went live here though, I decided to do all of these on Instagram Stories! Did you see them there? If so, what did you think? Would you like me to keep doing them on stories as well as here? I liked that you could see how the clothes actually moved on me, but you have more than 24 hours to check out this post. Let me know what you think!
J.Crew Factory Striped Tie-Waist Pocket T-Shirt, XS
Someone please explain to me where this love of yellow is coming from? So odd. Anyways, I love this top. The fabric is really comfortable and I can definitely wear this on casual Friday.
Verdict: Keep!

See above. Call me a sucker. Whatever, you’re right. Also, this top came untied and I forgot how ridiculous these tops look when they aren’t tied.
Verdict: Keep
J.Crew Factory Striped Off-The-Shoulder T-Shirt, XS
This was cute. It fit well, though I knew it was going to be too tight and get too hot for a humid DC summer. Also, I realized I was really going to have no where to wear it. And what’s the point of having the top? Also, I felt like it was created for someone with a longer torso.
Verdict: Return
J.Crew Factory Off-The-Shoulder T-Shirt, XS
Alright, this top is just not for me. Just nope. It has no shape and all I can thing about is the sleeves popping back up and making me look like I’m back on the prairie. However, if you like off the shoulder tops, this one comes with some advantages. The fabric is very light and breezy. Also, with how the sleeves are connected, you’re less likely to have to worry about underarm stains (too much tmi?). I’m just going to stop now.
Verdict: Return
PS If you were watching on Instagram Stories, you also got to see me try on it’s chambray twin.
J.Crew Factory Linen-Cotton Drawstring pant, Size 0
I got these to compare to the J.Crew Seaside Pants and see if the Factory was a similar (and less expensive option). Normally the Factory option is pretty similar (if not the same). Well, not this time, sadly. I should have sized up in these, but I still wouldn’t have kept them. First, these didn’t have the elastic on the bottom, you could only fold them up if you wanted them to be cropped. Second, they were itchy. Ugh, no good. Those were the major differences I noticed besides it being tighter. I would say you should compare them for yourself, but I say that this is one of the few times when you should go with the J.Crew version over the Factory version.
Verdict: Return
J.Crew Factory Printed Basketweave Mini Skirt, Size 0
Why does J.Crew Factory make the cutest skirts? Such a dilemma. This skirt fits, it has cute pineapples and it has pockets (though they’re currently sewed shut. I’m having an issue deciding which of these and the next two skirts I should keep though, so please let me know which of the three you like the most! This is a little more fitted, but I can obviously wear it to work and the weekends.
Verdict: Maybe
J.Crew Factory Printed Linen-Cotton Sidewalk Mini Skirt, Size 0
Normally I hate waists like this one (the cinched ruffles), but I love polka dots, so it was worth trying on. Well, I surprisingly liked this one! The only thing that frustrates me is that this is more of a cream than a white, which means I can’t wear any white with it. The dots are also navy, which means I can only wear a few colors with it and not black. So that’s kind of limiting when a lot of your tops are black and white.
Verdict: Still unsure
Similarly surprised about the waist for this one! And the length of the hem. Basically, I’m surprised all around. Plus this skirt is really light weight. And as you can see, pockets. I’m leaning a little more towards this skirt than the others (which is surprising me), but I’m still so unsure.
Please chime in and let me know which are your favorites!
Verdict: Help!!!
