Should I call this the J.Crew fail reviews? Honestly that feels more appropriate than the J.Crew 2020 Spring Sale Selection. This was just a whole lot of fails. Oh, and one win. So let’s start with that one.
J.Crew 2020 Spring Sale Selection

J.Crew Sleeveless pleated blouse, Black, XS
This is a great work tank! It’ll be perfect underneath a cardigan and the v doesn’t go too low. The material also wasn’t see through, which is always annoying. I only ordered this in black, so I don’t know if the white is see through, but I loved this tank. I also saw that it’s available in a crimson color, so I may have to go back for that….
Verdict: keep!

J.Crew Drapey band-collar popover, Ivory, XXS
Remember when I tried this on back in March? Or maybe it was February?Either way, the v-neck in the XS was wayyyy too deep. So I decided to try the XXS because why not? Anything goes in quarantine, right? Well, the arms and hips were a little tight in this top, but do-able. Sadly, the v-neck was still a little too deep (though you can’t really tell in this picture.
Verdict: Return

J.Crew Drapey band-collar popover, Black, XXS
I actually really liked the black version in XXS and debated keeping it, but the v-neck was still too deep. Womp. If only I wasn’t so short!
Verdict: Return

J.Crew Tweed motorcycle jacket, Dark Hunter, 0P
This jacket was so dang cute, but this size was just too dang small. I probably could have gone to either a 2P or a 0. But it was sold out in the color/size combo that I wanted at that point.
Verdict: Return.

Everlane The Mesh Soft Cotton Crew, XS, Bone
Surprise! I have two Everlane reviews to share as well! I loved this mesh sweater. It’s perfect for spring (or cold summer evenings). The fit was great and I loved the arm length. Now, I will add that because of the mesh, it’s a little see through, so you’ll probably want to layer, but you do you boo.
Verdict: Keep

Everlane Cotton Crew, XS, Cashew / White Stripe
I loved the Everlane Cotton Crews, so I’m always in favor of a new color in this shirt. The striped cashew was a win. It’s a pale yellow/tan-ish color. If you haven’t tried these shirts before, they’re a more fitted, crew neck tee. But these are also incredibly comfortable and get an A+ in my book.
Verdict: keep
The shopping in this post was a tiny bit of a fail for my closet, but at the same time, a win for my wallet. So I guess it’s a win overall? Have you been doing any quarantine ordering lately?
