Lately, I feel like I’ve been getting outfit inspiration from all over the place. Like this outfit for example. I actually got the inspiration for it from a two year old. Granted, she’s a pretty darn fashionable two year old (because that’s what happens when your mom is a fashion blogger), but when I saw her outfit, I thought, wait, those pieces look really good together AND I already have all of them. When I put the outfit together, I actually also had on flat booties (like adorable Ani), but I realized that by sub-ing in wedges and adding a sparkly necklace this was a perfect holiday outfit! It would be perfect for a Thanksgiving Dinner or another relaxed holiday event.

I’m also linking up with Briana today for Third Thursday Threads to talk about one of my favorite topics: shoes. Fall shoes may be my favorite shoes in my closet. These booties are my favorite for fall. In fact, when I first bought them three years ago, I actually got them in two colors because they were so comfortable and went well with everything!

This is such a pretty color combination! I love the way the cognac and burgundy look together.
I know! I hadn't ever thought to put them together and now I think I'm going to need to try it out more often!
