I feel like every winter I find a new winner sweater. This year? It’s this gray v-neck sweater from Old Navy.

I don’t know who decided on Old Navy’s new direction, but they’ve been doing an amazing job this year. Every piece that they get is more fabulous than the next, including this gray v-neck sweater. I actually ended up getting it in two colors because I loved it so much.
This outfit is pretty accurate to what most of my outfits have been lately (and what I aim for in all of my outfits): easy and comfortable. Easy to pair together and oh-so comfortable to wear. I’ve been taking that approach when I buy pieces too and it’s worked out pretty well.
I’ll be honest, it feels a little silly to be writing about clothing after everything that’s been going on this past weekend. It’s been a really difficult weekend and I found myself trying to find different ways to supporting those in need (from donating to the ACLU and signing petitions). I know this isn’t a political blog and I intend to keep it this way, but I have always tried to find ways to help others in need and share those ways through this blog. That will not change. I still intend to keep sharing the good in the world and helping share ways that we can continue to help others in need. I know we all do not share the same beliefs, but I hope we can all agree that it’s important to help others in need.
I also know that reading blogs can be a good escapism for some when you need to take a mental break. I 100% need that too, so I hope to still provide that on here. You’ll still get your daily dose of style, just with a dash of doing something good too.
