Birthday Cupcakes / Baked Lasagna Wantons
For a mini joint birthday celebration, my friend and I got birthday manicures and cupcakes on Monday. Since it was right down the street from our manicurist, we decided to FINALLY try The Sweet Lobby. Sweet Lobby is an amazing cupcake store in DC that actually won an episode of Cupcake Wars! As an avid Cupcake Wars watcher, this was pretty exciting for me, and after the sweet potato cupcake and the boston creme cupcake, I’ll definitely be back.
My friend Sara (who has decided to go vegan) has been passing along some great vegan recipes to me, so I decided to dive in and try this one on Tuesday. It turned out really well, so maybe I’ll share it on here later on.
I Don’t Know What you Know Me From / DIY Projects
I’ve been listening to this book on audio this week and I LOVE it. I love Judy Greer in basically everything I’ve seen her in and this book is just as hilarious and you could hope it would be. While I’ll never tell you to not read a book, I would HIGHLY recommend listening to the audiobook for this one. Judy Greer actually does the narration for it, which makes even better (if possible).
I also decided to take some time for myself Saturday night and do a DIY project that I had been putting off. I really enjoyed this project, so watch out for it on here soon!
Red Bull Gives you Crossing Wings! / Dotted Flats
I just saw this sign when I was at my alma mater and thought it was funny enough for a picture.
I haven’t really been a pointy-toe shoe person in the past, but I’ve been coming across a bunch of really cute pairs lately that have been warming me up to pointed toes. This pair, from Gap, is one of my new favorites.
