Do Something Good
I debated putting this into a products with a cause, but since it’s centered around children, I thought it might be better suited here. Last month, Tommy Hilfiger worked with the nonprofit, Runway of Dreams to launch an adaptive clothing line for children.
Runway of Dreams began when Mindy Scheier’s son, who had a rare form of muscular dystrophy, wanted to wear jeans to school like this friends, As a fashion designer, Scheier saw that there was a problem that not just her son faced. She recognized “Every kid and adult in the differently-abled community deserves to wear the same clothing that everybody else does.”
Her work eventually led her down the road to Tommy Hilfiger where they’re now working together to modify the spring collection for the differently-abled community. Read more about Scheier’s work with Runway of Dreams and learn more about the collection here!
