Do Something Good
Hi all, since I’m in the middle of a closet clean out (like many people I know) I did want to let you know that H&M has brought back their Garment Collecting program. With this program, you’re able to drop off clothes and home textiles that you no longer want at H&M stores. However, to make sure that this clothing doesn’t end up in a landfill, H&M does three things with the collected clothing:
Rewear – clothing that can be worn again will be sold as second hand clothing.
Reuse – old clothes and textiles will be turned into other products, such as cleaning cloths.
Recycle – everything else is turned into textile fibers or other uses such as insulation.

With how much clothing ends up in landfills every year (and trust me, it’s a lot), it’s great to see a company trying to reduce that amount of waste. Also as an added bonus for you, you’ll get a small discount code for each donation made.
On Something Good
- Keeping it casual for the weekend
- Curious what’s currently going on in my life?
Around the Internet (Fashion and Links)
- I was obsessed with Eden’s Crush when I was in sixth grade, so it was interesting to read this “where are they now” article.
- I think my hunt for a long sleeve striped black shirt has come to an end (fingers crossed!)
- Seriously though, stop apologizing all of the time (I’m guilty of it too!)
- Ugh, I still can’t get over how beautiful this dress is.
- 17 women talk about how to make friends (it’s hard when you’re an adult).
- Thoughts on this polka dot shirt?
- Is it weird that I’m so excited about this cookbook? Because I am.
- I picked up this tee for working out, and I kind of love it.
- I kind of love this video of Jamie Oliver and Ed Sheeran rapping for Food Revolution Day
I decided to play around a little with how the links are set up this week. I may go back to the old format, but please let me know your thoughts! Would you like less articles and more clothing? More book recommendations? I want to know!
