Do Something Good
The end of the years means many things for people, but since I work at a nonprofit, it typically means time to process all of the donations. Many people donate right at the end of the year because it’s their last chance to make a tax deductible donation. So I’m curious: did you make any donations at the end of 2016? Are there any organizations you’d like to share? I love hearing about the different charities that people support.

Ooh looking forward to hearing what you think about Underground Railroad. It sounds great, but I have to admit that lately I’ve been avoiding “difficult” areas (such as slavery) in my reading. Escapist reader, much?
Hahaha, I understand! I keep unintentionally diving into “difficult” books or books that I think are escapist and then end up dealing with important issues. This one is so worth it though.
