How to Build Your Outfit
Know Your Location(s)
Are you going to the beach? A bbq? Or some backyard event? Or maybe you’re going to all three! But know where you’re going because you want to make sure you’re dressing accordingly. Also so you can bring clothes to change into if necessary.
Pick Your Colors and Patterns
I know that the obvious color scheme is red, white, and blue. But luckily you can still play with this a little bit. Maybe you’ll pick two of the three colors. Or you can go with different shades of red or blue. (Like a nice coral or a navy blue).
You also don’t have to stick with stripes and stars AT ALL. Go with a floral pattern, wear polka dots, wear solids; you can wear whatever pattern makes you happen.
Go With What Makes You Comfortable
It’s July, it’s going to be hot and you don’t want to be uncomfortable. So if that means ditching the wedges for flat sandals, do it! If you want to wear shorts instead of a dress (or vice versa), why not? It’s a holiday for everyone, so wear what will make you comfortable and allow you to enjoy yourself!
